- Offprints of academic articles on geology from the 1830s and 1840s. - Lists of the order of strata of the British Isles and St Petersburg (1816-1819). - A book entitled 'A Series of Letters Addressed to His Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex as President of the Royal Society, Remonstrating Aginst the Conduct of that Learned Body. By Lieutenant-Colonel Everest' (1839, 149 pages). - A booklet on the history of printing (1834, 19 pages). - A foldable large travel map of Switzerland (1813). The map is printed, and has then been hand-coloured, possibly by Greenough. - A sermon given at the re-opening of Westminster Abbey in 1848 by William Buckland, Dean of Westminster (30 pages). - A sheet entitled 'Lord Erskine on Arrests, &c.'. - A catalogue for an auction of items from a 'Curious, Rare, and Valuable Library', including maps and charts (1851). - French and German catalogues of publications, including maps. - A German handbook on Byzantine architecture. - A poem in Italian.
File also includes a large Ordnance Survey map entitled 'Geological map of the British Islands' (1906) that has been added to the collection at some point after Greenough's death. |
