| Description | A volume of printed updates for members of the Geological Society. This volume has been created by George Greenough, a prominent member of the Society, by sticking the printed updates he received into a blank volume. These updates are mainly resulting from the Annual General Meetings of the Society, and include extracts of the Council’s report, and resolutions from the AGMs. The topics covered include:
- research carried out by Society members;
- finances of the Society;
- membership numbers and subscriptions;
- Society publications;
- changes in the rules and regulations of the Society;
- the Society library, and the Society’s collections of minerals, plans, maps, and drawings;
- appointments to certain positions within the Society. |
