Description | Various documents of George Greenough's, which have all been torn up. It is unclear why they were torn up, but at some point someone has sorted the fragments into matching bundles, so that it is possible to reassemble the documents. These torn documents include the following:
- a certificate regarding Greenough's father's death (1778); - handwritten letters to Greenough from various people; - fragments of Greenough's handwritten notes; - a certificate from the Society of Genealogists for Lt.-Col. E.R. Cottingham of Harrow (1926). |
