Description	Letters between the Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society and J B S Haldane regarding the decision of the Scientific Relief Committee to award a grant for the benefit of Mr Hemingway, and the Society's request that Haldane administers the grant. Haldane indicates that he is not close enough to Hemingway to administer it effectively, and a handwritten note indicates that Swinnerton-Dyer would take it over.
