Title | Letter from Jean François De Luc, in Geneva to his father Jean André De Luc |
Date | 9 May 1777 |
Description | Only the first two pages of the letter remain. Jean François explains to his father how positive his guidance is and asks him to continue to offer his opinions on his progress. He mentions that he knows he needs to work harder on his handwriting as he is not satisfied with it. For this reason, he has decided to take some calligraphy lessons with Mr Beljean. Jean François then gives him a report on the progress of his studies, including his mathematics teacher's idea of asking him to teach other students in order to improve and clarify his understanding of the subject. |
