AdminHistory | The Management Committee had agreed, on 2 December 1837, that a book was to provided for the Steward's reports. The first volume (H/C/3/1) begins with a detailed schedule under 12 headings, requiring information as to death of inmates, sickness, conduct, absence without leave, chapel attendance, candidates for admission, the Coqueau charity, repairs needed, provisions, fuel, expenditure, and exceptional occurrences. Reports are accordingly arranged under these headings. From H/C/3/3 to H/C3/11, the reports continue under the same headings with the addition of 'garden'. The Committee's comments and instructions, signed by the Secretary, follow each month's report. |
