| Description | Madeleine Guichet requests that her husband, Etienne, be admitted to the Hospital. He is the son of Huguenot refugees to London. Etienne is a silkweaver but suffers from dementia so can no longer work. He has already been hospitalised twice at St Luc's Hospital and three times at Mr Potter's, in Bethnal Green. His condition has now deteriorated to such an extent that Madeleine fears for her life. The petition is signed by Jean Guillemard and Louis Lalleton. |
