Description | Eleonore Montpensier, a 72 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born in Dauphiné, but came to England as a refugee forty years previously. Her late husband, Charles Montpensier was a Protestant from Paris and her father, Jean Jaques Pancier, was a tailor from Nîmes. Eleonore is too unwell to be able to work and look after herself. The petition is signed by Charles de Guiffardiere, Minister and Jean B Vincent. |
