TitleSusanne Macaire, née Betambeau
Date30 Jul 1809
DescriptionSusanne Macaire, a 74 year old woman, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born in London but her grandparents, called Betambeau (no first names given) were originally from Normandy. Susanne is a member of the French Church of London and of St Jean. She used to work in the silk industry but is now suffering from pain and fatigue in her arms and legs so can no longer work. A note at the end, signed by J L Chirol, Pastor, states that he has known Susanne for fourteen years and that she speaks French. The petition is also signed by Daniel Boitel, Daniel Dupuy, P Frebout and P Guillemard.
