DescriptionPaul Prouteaux, an 88 year old silkweaver, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born in London but his parents were Huguenot refugees from Poitou. Paul has not been able to work for the previous nine years due to poor health but his daughter has looked after him during this time. Unfortunately, her financial situation does not allow her to continue. The petition is signed by Louis Amédée Anspach, Pastor of the French Church of London; François Jolit and Jaques Racine.
