DescriptionHenriette Cheney, a 51 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born in London and is the daughter of Isaac Paillet, whose father, Daniel Paillet, was born in Châtellerault, in Poitou. Henriette is a member of the French Church of Les Grecs. She is described as being incapable of working but no further details are given. A note in a different hand states that Alexandre Sterky, Pastor of the French Church of Les Grecs personally recommends Henriette and praises her for her character, conduct and piety. The petition is signed by Alexandre Sterky, Pastor; J R Vincent; Peter John Gaugain; Peter Des Granges and Philip Audinet.
