TitleMarie Dupuy, née Granser
Date5 Feb 1829
DescriptionMarie Dupuy, a 68 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father Jaques Granser, was a Huguenot refugee originally from Paris and her late husband, Lambert Dupuy was born in Normandy. He used to be a sailor in the Royal Navy and fought in the wars in America and France. Marie is too unwell to work so her daughter has been looking after her since her husband's death. Unfortunately, she can no longer afford to do so. A note in a different hand, in English, by John Jones, recommends her admission. The petition is also signed by Jaque Mousset.
