| Description | Marie Levesque, a 75 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father, Henri Bedine was a student at the Westminster French Protestant School. Her grandfather, Louis Bedine, was originally fram Caen, in Normandy, but came to this country to avoid persecution. Her late husband, Jean Baptiste Levesque, was also from Caën. Marie is a member of the French Protestant Church of St Jean. She used to work in the silk industry but can no longer do so due to poor health and severe asthma. A note at the end by J L Chirol, Emeritus Pastor at the French Church of St Jean, confirms that the content of the petition is true.
