Jeanne has been a widow for the past twelve years and can no longer work as a silkweaver as she suffers from rheumatism, gout and poor eyesight. She does not have any family or friends who can help her. The petition is signed by Charles L A Scholl, Jean Bernard, A Platrier, Pierre Fontaneau and bears Jeann Booth's mark.
