| Description | François Nay, a 48 year old widower, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. His grandparents, Louis and Sarah Nay, were originally from Dieppe and his parents were François and Anne Nay. His maternal grandfather died at the French Hospital and his own wife died a month previously. François is a weaver and works for Mr Reid but he suffers from an hernia and his eyesight is now too poor for him to be able to continue.
