Description | Sarah Fillon, a 68 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her ancestors were Huguenot refugees from Poitou. Sarah's late husband died two years previously but had not been able to work for fourteen years prior to his death because of his paralysis. He was therefore entirely dependant on his wife's income. Sarah's eyesight is now so poor that she can hardly see at night and can no longer work. The petition is signed by Charles Jean Boiceau, Pastor; Jean Bernard; P Fontaneau and A Platrier. |
