TitleAnne Walker, née De La Mare
Date7 Aug 1832
DescriptionAnne Walker, a 70 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father, Philippe De La Mare was originally from Dieppe, in Normandy. She has been a member of the French Church of London and of St Jean for over fifty years. Her father was a doorman at the Church of St Jean for several years and Anne succeeded him in that role. She suffers from several conditions, including poor eyesight so can no longer work as a silkweaver. A note by Charles Scholl states that whilst he does not know Anne Walker personally, he can recommend her on the basis of what others have told him about her. The petition bears Anne Walker's mark.
