Description | Jacques Lorriaux, a 52 year old man, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. His father, Jean Jacques Lorriaux, was originally from Cambrai, in France. He has been a member of the French Church of London for the past thirty years and his own father passed away at the French Hospital the previous week. Whilst Jacques is still relatively young, his eyesight is so poor that he can no longer work as a silkweaver. A note at the end, by Charles Scholl and Pierre Fontaneau, recommends the petitioner, dated 29 August 1832. The petition is signed by Jacques (James) Lorriaux. |
