DescriptionLydie Ferry, a 63 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father was Jacques Breau and her grandfather, also called Jacques, was originally from Nîmes but had to flee to avoid religious persecution. Lydie has been a member of the French Church of London for the past 43 years. She is a seamstress but cannot earn enough to be financially independent. Her husband died 11 years prior to the petition being made and her children cannot help her. The petition is signed by Lydie Ferry herself; Auguste Louis, Pastor; Pierre Fontaneau; John Jaques; James Racine and Jean Le Richeux.
