| Description | Judith Nicole, a 72 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father, Daniel Sauvage was originally from Normandy and fled to Guernsey. Her late husband, Simeon Nicole was from Caen, in Normandy. Nicole broke her back after a fall four years prior to the petition being made. She can no longer look after herself and is a member of the Church of Les Grecs. The petition is signed by Charles Raboteau. Pinned to the petition is a certificate by Dr Jean Jacquin confirming her condition. The latter is dated 3 March 1764 and the petition is undated. |
