DescriptionMadeleine Richardeau, a 73 year old woman, born in London, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her father, Daniel Jammet was originally from Loudun, in Poitou. She cannot look after herself and only has her son and daughter to help her. The latter can no longer take care of her to the extent that they have done up to this point. The petition is signed by Samuel Beuzeville, Minister of St Jean; Ephrahim Flammare, Elder and Charles Martan, Elder. Pinned to the petition is a certificate from Demedis, a doctor, confirming that Madeleine Richardeau suffers from dementia and general poor health, dated 16 April 1764.
