DescriptionPierre Orange, a 57 year old man born in London, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. His late father, Abraham Orange, was originally from Bolbec, in Normandy. Pierre is employed as a silk weaver but was suddenly paralysed on one side of his body and therefore, can no longer work. The petition is signed by F Gautarel, Pastor; André Benjamin Guinard; Charles de St Lieu and Jean Guillemard. Pinned to the petition is a certificate signed by Demedis, a doctor, confirming his paralysis.
