DescriptionMarthe Manouri, a 65 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her late husband, Pierre Manouri, was originally from Hautretot, near Bolbec, in Normandy. Furthermore, her grandfather, the late Jaques Brumar, was born in Saint-Quentin, in Picardy. She has had convulsions for a long time but was suddenly paralysed on one side of her body five weeks prior to the petition being made. As a result, she cannot do any work and is in great poverty. The petition is signed by F Gautarel, Pastor and Jean Lemaistre, Elder. Pinned to it is a certificate signed by Dr Jn Jacquin confirming her paralysis.
