Description | Pierre La Combe, a 70 year old widower, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He is the son of refugees from Clérac. He can no longer work as he suffers from poor health and is nearly blind. Furthermore, he has lost his wife after a long illness so there is no one who can help him. At the end, a note signed by Elie Brilly, Pastor, recommends Pierre. The petition is not dated but it was registered on 2 June 1770. It is signed by Isaac Micheau, Peter Mounier and Peter Montel, all three Elders at the French Church of Leicesterfields. |
