| Description | Marie Grossetete, a 74 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She is the daughter of David and Marie Mabon, from Normandy. Her late husband was Jérôme Grossetete. She is now too ill to be able to look after herself. A note at the end, signed by J T Muysson, Minister and dated 12 May 1770, confirms that Marie had been a member of the French Church of Les Grecs for several years. Pinned to the petition is a certificate from Dr J N Jacquin explaining that Marie is indeed unwell and feeble, dated 17 May 1770. The petition is signed by Isaac Roberts and D Tabart. |
