Date11 Apr 1771
DescriptionJudith de La Neuve Maison, a 63 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born in Wandsworth but her father, Jacob Maganel, was originally from Dauphiné. Judith's late husband, Samuel De La Neuve Maison, was a surgeon in Wandsworth. The couple moved to Tunisia due to Samuel's work and Judith came back to Wandsworth after her husband's death fifteen years prior to the petition being made. She then opened a small shop but it was never very succesfull. Judith now suffers from several debilitating conditions so can no longer work. The petition is signed by Jacob Bourdillon, Pastor; Stephen Frampton and Lambert Robin, both Elders at the French Church in Wandsworth.
