Date8 Jan 1785
DescriptionPierre Perochon, a 76 year old man, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born in Moncoutant, in Poitou, and had to flee to England to avoid persecution. Pierre is bed-bound and unable to move so cannot look after himself. The Pastor and Elders of the French Church of St Jean strongly recommend him to the Directors of the Hospital. The petition is signed by Agassiz, Pastor; Jaques Guillemard and Pierre Levesque. Overleaf is a note signed by Barthelemi Bouigue stating that he had visited Pierre and had found him paralysed and very feeble.
