Description | Marguerite Dacier, an 83 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her late husband was Jean Dacier and her father, Louis Benet, was originally from Poitou. She is nearly blind and cannot leave her bed without help. She would need to pay for someone to care for her but unfortunately, cannot afford it. A note in a different hand, signed J D and dated 12 February 1785, states that Marguerite suffers from asthma and cannot look after herself. The petition is signed by E Gibert, Minister; Isaac Hureau (? Flureau) and Jaques Michel. |
