TitleElizabeth Vinnet, née Breton
Date14 May 1785
DescriptionElizabeth Vinnet, a 65 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her late husband, Isaac Vinnet and her parents, Elie Breton and Anne Bertau were all from Saintonge. Elizabeth is paralysed and has lost the use of one eye so can no longer work. A note in a different hand, signed by Turquand and Grugeon states that the petitioner and her husband had been employed by them for the past twenty years. They were excellent employees who only stopped working when their health prevented them from doing so. The petition is signed by Jaques Grugeon and Jaques L'Homme Senior.
