Description | Jean Castang, a 70 year old man, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He is the son of Huguenot refugees from Saverdun, in the County of Foix, who escaped to London at the beginning of the 18th century. He is too unwell and his eyesight is too poor for him to be able to keep working in the clockmaking industry. The petition is signed by Charles de Guiffardière, Minister and Edward Masson. |
