| Description | Susanne Barbet, a 73 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her late husband was Guillaume Barbet and her father, Jean Barbet, was originally from Bolbec, in Normandie. Susanne can no longer work and her nephew, Jean Levesque, with whom she lived recently passed away. A note in another hand, signed by E Browne, states that Susanne is too unwell to be able to make her way to the Hospital, dated 4 May 1798. The petition is signed by P Guillemeau and Jaques Barbet. |
