DescriptionJean Hachard, a 76 year old man, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born in the parish of Lermué, near Bolbec, in Normandy but has been living in England for the past 53 years. He is a member of the French Church of London.
Jean Antoine Joseph Thorel, a 66 year old man, also requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born in Vancquetin, in the parish of St Martin, in Artois. He is a member of the French Church of Canterbury. Both man are too unwell to work and look after themselves. A note in a different hand, states that the Minister, Elders and Deacons of the French Church of Canterbury strongly recommend the petitioners. The petition is signed by Jean Hachard; Antoine Joseph Thorel; J T Miéville, Pastor; L Decaufour, Elder; N Turmine, Elder; Jean Talbot, Deacon and Daniel Decaufour, Deacon.
