Description | Madelaine Batteux, a 78 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. Her late husband was Paul Abel Batteux. Her father, Pierre Laurent Voisin, was from London and her grandfather, Pierre Voisin, was originally from Normandy. Madelaine has been a member of the French Church of London for the past 45 years. She is now too unwell to be able to look after herself. A note at the end by Dr Bouigue confirms that Madelaine is very feeble and connot work, dated 27 July 1796. The petition is signed by Mercier, Pierre Levesque and Daniel Boitel Junior. |
