| Description | Philipa Jacob, a 47 year old woman, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 16 September 1749. Her late father, Pierre Jacob, was a watchmaker and her grandfather, Marc Jacob, was originally from Dieppe, in Normandy. Philipa suffers from a physical disability since childhood that does not allow her to work. Both her parents have now passed away so she has no one who can take care of her.
