| Description | Sarah Symons, a 61 year old woman, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 1 February 1782. Her parents were James Henry Noon and Elizabeth Gentil. The latter was the daughter of Charles Gentil, originally a Huguenot from near Bolbec, in Normandy, who died at the French Hospital in 1777. Sarah is a silkweaver but can no longer work due to rheumatism and poor eyesight. The petition is signed by Sarah Symons herself and John Homes.
