| Description | Mary Ann Jones, a 72 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 20 March 1773. Her parents were Boniface and Mary Claisse. Both parents were of Huguenot descent, and her father was an Elder at the French Church of La Patente. Mary Ann has been a member of the French Church of London for 53 years. She used to be a French teacher at a boarding school and then became a silkweaver. Mary Ann can no longer work due to age-related conditions. The petition is signed by Mary Ann Jones herself and Thomas Claisse.
