Description	Elizabeth Charier, a 56 year old woman, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 6 March 1786 and her parents were Peter and Judith Charier. Both her parents' ancestors were Huguenot refugees from Poitou who came to England after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes. Elizabeth is a silkweaver and casual needle worker but can no longer continue due to poor eyesight. The petition is signed by Elizabeth Charier herself and John Taylor. Petition n. 1227.
