Description
Ann Maundrell, a 66 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 2 October 1782. Her parents were Ann Le Blond and Joseph Ouvry. The latter was originally from Normandy but fled to England in c. 1710 to avoid religious persecution. Ann used to be a silkweaver and is now a washerwoman but can no longer continue to work due to poor health. The petition bears Ann Moundrell's mark and is signed by Mary Cross.
Petition n. 1291.
