Description
James John Lamey, a 76 year old widower, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. He was born on 2 July 1771. His parents were John Lamey and Elizabeth David. His father's ancestors were Huguenots from Normandy. James is a silkweaver but can no longer work as he suffers from poor eyesight and dementia. The petition bears James John Lamey's mark and is signed by Samuel Clark.
