| Description | Maria Key, a 60 year old woman, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 1 January 1792. Her parents were James Key and Ann Morgan. Maria's maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Morgan, was a Protestant refugee born in France. Both Ann and Elizabeth Morgan resided at the French Hospital. Maria used to be a bonnet maker, but had to virtually stop working in order to look after her aging mother. The petition is signed by John Saffery and Maria Key herself.
