| Description | Frances Woods, a 68 year old woman, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 15 January 1784. Her parents were Margaret and Christopher Fly Woods. Margaret Woods was the granddaughter of Mr Lobbée, a Huguenot refugee from Champagne. He used to be a warden at the French Church of Les Grecs, where Margaret was baptised. She died at the French Hospital. Frances Woods used to be a straw bonnet maker and worked for 30 years for Mr Charles. After having broken her leg the previous year and suffering from age-related conditions, she is no longer independent. The petition is signed by Frances Woods herself, and James Saberton.
