| AdminHistory | Since the original site of the Hospital was a long leasehold (see H/E/5/1) there is no accumulation of early title deeds. Whatever deeds came in with the purchase of the Victoria Park site in 1862 were presumably passed on when it was sold.
The counterparts of leases issued after the 1808 Act have presumably been destroyed, unless left in the offices of former solicitors to the Hospital. They are however transcribed in full in H/E/5/2. |
