a) Case, with opinion of James Gambier, on three questions concerning the powers of the Directors under the Patent. viz. (1) whether a Director not naturalized as a British subject could be elected, (2) whether the Corporation had power to grant life annuities, (3) whether they could assist out-pensioners (24 September 1739).
b) Case and opinion, of the same date, but including five other questions and answers, crossed out in pencil: apparently superseded by the first paper.
