AdminHistoryCharles Edmund Lart (1869-1947) wrote extensively on Huguenot history and was a leading authority on the origins of the refugee families. He was a Fellow of the Huguenot Society from 1892 until his death fifty-five years later and he served many times on the Council. He edited 'Registers of the French Churches of Bristol, Stonehouse, and Plymouth', Huguenot Society Quarto Series, vol. XX (London, 1912), and wrote about twenty articles for the Huguenot Society Proceedings.
It is possible that some of the transcripts listed may have come form the collection left to C E Lart by Ida Layard (see HUGUENOT LIBRARY/T/2).
