AdminHistoryGeorge Beaumont Beeman, FSA, President of the Huguenot Society from 1917 to 1920, died in 1954. His obituary in the Huguenot Society Proceedings, vol. XIX, p. 19, states that he had an unrivalled knowledge of Huguenot records in the main libraries.
