AdminHistoryWilliam John Charles Moens, FSA (1833-1904) was a member of the original Council of the Huguenot Society of London, and President from 1899 to 1902. He came from an old Walloon family settled in Holland. His father established himself as a merchant in London, and William became keenly interested in Huguenot history as well as that of the Dutch churches in England. His books of Huguenot interest were left to the French Hospital after his death.
