AdminHistory | In Sep 1920 a conference was held between representatives of the National Committee for the Training of Teachers in Scotland, the Commissioners of National Education for Ireland, and representative Principals of the Training Colleges of the United Kingdom with the Standing Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals of the United Kingdom and the Principals or University Colleges. As a result a joint committee with representatives of the Academic Council, External Council and University Extension Board was formed to consider the relation of training colleges to the University of London. This resulted in the formation of the Training Colleges Delegacy. |
