AdminHistoryThe Training of Teachers Sub-Committee was established in 1942 to consider the future of teacher training. Its reports were approved by the Delegacy as the basis of evidence given by it to the McNair Committee on the Training of Teachers in 1943. Following publication of the McNair Report a Joint Committee with representatives of Goldsmith's College, the Institute of Education, King's College and the Training Colleges Delegacy was formed to discuss future developments.
