| Description | Correspondence of G B Jeffery mainly with Robert Stopford of the Council of the Church Training Colleges, I J Pitman, Ministry of Educatioon, and the colleges about the 9 voluntary training colleges of the Area Training Organisation that were not linked to the church and their future financial security under new capital grants. There was a concern the colleges would not be able to improve buildings and facilities under the funding plans. The colleges involved were Borough Road, Stockwell, Froebel Educational Institute, Dartford College of Physical Education, National Training College of Domestic Subjects, Rachel McMillan, Homerton College, Saffron Walden and Darlington (the first six being part of the London ATO)
