AdminHistory | The Committee on Special Entry was established by the Academic Board in November 1959 with the following terms of reference: 'To make recommendations to the Academic Board regarding the nature of the test procedure to be used in the case of applicants, put forward by a College, who do not possess the normal minimum entry requirements for the Certificate in Education'. It consisted of the Chairman of the Academic Board, four members of the Academic Board and eight members (appointed by the Board) from a list of testers and interviewers, authorised by the Board. It held its last meeting in June 1973. |
